Enterprise Resource Planning
Enterprise resource planning (ERP) activities in the areas of customization and alternative solutions fall into three main categories: consultation, integration, and adaptation.
Under the heading of consultation services, a client's structure and needs are thoroughly examined and the most suitable solution is recommended. Reports that are prepared while this examination is in progress identify the modules that are needed, the applications that those modules will require, and other issues such as hardware and special software requirements. As a result of this study, a project plan containing the most appropriate solution package is prepared and submitted to the client.
Integration is a process that begins after consultation. If the project plan approved by the client calls for the involvement of several outside parties and/or resources, first of all the individual solutions of these corporate business partners are brought together and a single solution is formulated. In situations where business partners' solutions are insufficient to the task at hand, the most suitable solution is found (either locally or from abroad) and that one is integrated into the system. Projects of this kind are undertaken on a turnkey delivery basis and OYTEK assumes full responsibility for all maintenance, guarantees, and relations with outside firms.
What is ERP?
ERP stands for "enterprise resource planning". The simplest definition of ERP is that it is a system that enables a company to carry out all its internal processes within an integrated structure while also providing support in the parts of tasks that are external to the company.
ERP solutions are grouped under the main headings of Basic Applications, Accounting and Financial Applications, Production, Sales, Procurements, Supplier Chain Management (SCM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Stocks, Logistics, Cost Accounting, and Customer Relations Management (CRM).
During the customization process, OYTEK personnel adapt Microsoft Dynamics AX (Axapta), the ERP system developed by our business partner Microsoft, to the client's specific needs. ERP solutions are grouped under the main headings of Basic Applications, Accounting and Financial Applications, Production, Sales, Procurements, Supplier Chain Management (SCM), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Stocks, Logistics, Cost Accounting, and Customer Relations Management (CRM).
Additional modules (add-ons) that are developed in-house by OYTEK and are not supplied by other solution partners provide a level of product quality that exceeds standard applications. The most important of these add-on modules are cost accounting, budget, credit management, risk management and guarantee monitoring, maintenance, procurement approval and tend management processes, quality control, incoming goods acceptance, and weighbridge integration. Special ready-mix concrete modules have also been developed by the company for the cement industry.
