FORIS consists of two main components:
Dynamic Content Management System
The Dynamic Content Management System performs such functions as approving, publishing, and updating documents, letters, pictures and similar content.
Some of the purposes for which the Dynamic Content Management System can be used are:
News
Announcements
Articles
FAQs
Questionnaires
Shared Documents
Calendars and agendas
The Dynamic Content Management System makes it possible to manage website content according to different levels of authority by accessing the information via the portal.
Activities such as updating website content that has been or is going to be published, composing want ads for human resources pages, and similar content management can all be carried out by using the FORIS corporate portal environment.
Workflows and Forms System
The Workflows and Forms System provides a platform for carrying out such activities as reserving company resources for company work groups and requesting those of other work groups within predefined levels of authority as well as request-related tracking, fulfilling, assigning, transferring, and similar functions.
The Workflows and Forms System consists of the following modules:
Sales and Customer Relations Management
Work Orders and Tracking
Resource Management (Reservation System)
System Development
Projects
Procurement Requests
These modules can be further detailed according to the client's particular needs.
Sales and Customer Relations Management
This module has the following features:
Complete access to contact information and authority levels of all the customers, business partners, and other firms with which the company does business
Sales team contacts and their current status
Proposals received and their current status
Reports
Work Orders and Tracking
This module's features allow work orders involving company employees and/or units or the company and outside parties with which it has a business relationship such as business partners and customers to be formulated, assigned, transferred, and managed.
Resource Management (Reservation System)
This resource management module makes it possible to organize the use of company resources such as meeting rooms, vehicles, etc that are shared in common. This module can also function in tandem with Microsoft Access.
System Development
This module has a workflow and request infrastructure that oversees and maximizes the effectiveness of the use, application, and development of all the processes and documents that are formulated within the framework of a company's quality management activities.
Projects
This module ensures that information about projects that have been initiated and are being integrated with the procurements and sales/customer relations management modules is disseminated in the most effective way possible throughout the project group. This allows the project plan to proceed methodically and for its progression to be monitored effectively until the project is completed. Content management of project-related plans, meeting notes, offers, contracts, and similar documentation ensures that material is made available for viewing by project team members according to their individual level of authority. Customer requests arriving via the internet are also directed to this module and are evaluated and finalized by the workflow infrastructure.
Procurement Requests
This module provides a fully electronic procurement approval mechanism by means of which the procurement needs of the sales team or of company employees can be satisfied quickly and effectively. When necessary, this module can be integrated with the sales/customer relations management and projects modules as well.

FORIS technology
FORIS infrastructure and integration components allow other products and services that are in use to be easily integrated into the corporate portal.
Using the management function contained in FORIS infrastructure, it is possible to add content menu items to the portal and to add in-house profile, unit, group, and job descriptions and designate authorization levels for each one.
By using the components already present in a corporate portal, FORIS technology makes it possible to manage human resources processes in a fully integrated manner and to perform all functions from announcing position vacancies and receiving and recording applications to arranging interviews and hiring in an electronic environment.
