ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition - Smart Character (handwriting recognition) is the technology used in the reading and recognition of handwriting characters. It is the conversion of handwriting to the text character that the computer can read.
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) is the process of reading the characters in the format of electronic images or text information and converting to machine language.
